La Palabra ( english version included)

Las locas ideas
danzan en mi mente.
Como expresarlas?
Donde encontrar esa palabra
que todo lo abarque
y no diga nada?
Donde esa palabra suave,
dulce, que al oido apenas
sea susurrada?
Donde esa palabra
que calme las olas
de la mar mas brava?
Donde esa palabra
que del volcan ardiente
enfrie la lava?
Donde esa palabra
que de las inundaciones
seque las aguas?
Donde esa palabra
que haga la luz
en noches cerradas?
Donde esa palabra
que encienda esperanza
en mi tristeza amarga?
Donde esa palabra
que cure la herida que causa
el dolor en mi alma?

Existe?
Si, existe, y esa
palabra bendita,
palabra sagrada,
palabra que enciende
las luces del alma,
palabra que devuelve
a mi mente la calma,
es una sola;
es Dios,
y tiena cuatro letras
que no dicen nada,
pero todo abarcan!

THE WORD

The crazy ideas
Dance in my mind.
How to express them?
Where do I find
That word
That can both
Mean everything
And nothing at all?
Where is this soft,
Sweet word
That can be
Barely whispered
In your ear?
Where is that word
That can calm the waves
Of the roughest sea?
Where is that word
That can freeze
The fiery lava
Of the hotest volcano?
Where is that word
That can dry
The waters
Of the deepest flood?
Where is that word
That can bring us light
On the darkest nights?
Where is that word
That can bring new hope
To my bitter sadness?
Where is that word
That can heal
The wound in my soul
That causes my pain?

Does it exist?
Yes, it does,
And that Holy Word,
Sacred Word,
That Word that brings
Light to the soul,
That Word
That returns peace
to my mind
Is one;
Is God,
And it has
Four letters
That might
Not be much
But their meaning
Is vast!
